Tarangire National Park: So Many Animals!

We've already seen so many animals!  Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant herds, and for the knarled, majestic Baobab tree, which was the inspiration for both the Tree of Life in Disney's 'Lion King' and the Hometree in the movie Avatar.  After only two game drives, we've seen the elephants, the trees, and much more, all in quantity.  The list includes giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, cape buffalo, warthog, ostrich, monkeys, baboons and Impala.  And we spent two hours watching a pride of 10 lions at a riverbank.  What a show!  It's beyond just seeing the animals; it's their interaction.  We stand up in our open-top vehicles, and watch both harmony and drama unfold.
