Our guide 'Si' took me on another trek today. This time we walked mostly downhill, then took a motorbike back up! We had a good look at farm life, seeing ducks, chickens and goats in addition to pigs and water buffalo. And no souvenir stand here; people seemed indifferent to our presence. This visit to the mountains makes me all-the-more excited about my time in the Himalayas. Tomorrow I say goodbye to my friends in Vietnam and head for India . . .
