Colorado Springs, Colorado

I started out by touring the U.S. Olympic Training Center here. I especially liked seeing synchronized swimming practice and the wrestling dummies. And who knew that water polo athletes originally straddled wooden barrels (their horses) in the water? That's why it's called 'polo'.

Then I spent the rest of the day with my niece Carrie and her family. Carrie, Mike, Samantha and I visited the Garden of the Gods, with its crazy red rocks. Sam mostly danced, instead of hiking. And we all went to dinner (and ice cream) after Taylor and Blake got out of school. Thanks for a great visit, guys!
