The variety and number of animals we’ve seen here boggles the mind. It’s a lot to take in! They travel and live in groups of their own: a pride of lions; a parade of elephants; a tower of giraffes; a troop of baboons; a confusion of guinea fowl; an improbability of wildebeest, a dazzle of zebras . . .
With their bold colors and patterns, the giraffe, zebra, impala and leopard look to be designed by a most creative graphic artist. Antelope horns appear the work of a talented sculptor. And the warthog and wildebeest look like a mistake.
But elegant and ugly, predator and prey, they all have their place and a job to do.
