Exploring Hanoi

We explored the streets of the old quarter of Hanoi today with Linda's daughter Coli and her family. It's amazing to watch them interact with merchants in Vietnamese! That's Catherine (5) and Timothy (8) with Coli. Son William (10) and husband Will 'shadowed' us on a motorbike. Will took me for a ride on the bike, too. And the whole family dons helmets and uses their two motorbikes to get around the city, three on one bike and two on the other. Will works at the University, helping teachers learn how to teach English. What a great family, and what fun to share their life in Hanoi.
