Buenos Aires Today, Antartica Tomorrow

We’re headed to the far bottom of the planet, Antarctica!  Brother Joel and I are in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now.  And we’ll next fly to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, to board the National Geographic/Lindblad Explorer for 10 days on ‘The White Continent’.

We’re learning about the merging of Spanish, Italian, British and French cultures in this city known for it’s broad, leafy boulevards, parks and eclectic architecture.  A walking tour included great street art and sampling local espresso coffee and ‘dulce de leche’ ice cream.  We even found Tango dancing in a park.  And Argentinian steaks and Malbec wine were a perfect end to the day.

Hola Amigo!

Happy New year Glenn. Another adventure, good for you. I don't believe I have ever seen a picture of your brother, I see a definite resemblance!
Those tango dancers look like they are ready to start tango-ing again any minute!

Travel safe. xomaria
